The pre-Christmas slog
The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is so strange, don’t you think? It’s like, we’re fully in the holiday season, yet it’s not quite Christmas. Do we keep working hard (or work even harder), or do we slack off? I feel like my plate gets fuller around this time (lots of freelance jobs coming in for the end of the year), but it takes twice as long to hear back from anyone, which makes everything take longer! Not a complaint, just an observation. I’m still enjoying a slower pace for now, overall!
